AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROCESS: WHAT TO EXPECT

Our application is a two-step process:

1. Preliminary application process to run a credit and criminal background check
2. Tax credit application to confirm household qualifications based on income limits

STEP-BY-STEP OUTLINE: HOW TO SUBMIT A APPLICATION ONLINE

Select Floor Plan Type and Complete Preliminary Application:

1. Navigate to Vista Ridge website's floor plan page.
2. Select your desired floor plan type by clicking "Apply Now." You will have the option to select your specific apartment once you are fully approved.
3. Follow the prompts to "Create My Account" and complete the preliminary application.
4. You will receive a preliminary approval notification in approximately 1 day.

Income Verification Application:

1. You will be contacted to schedule an in-person income verification application appointment. At this time, you will be provided with a detailed list of household and income verification paperwork needed.
2. Attend your scheduled appointment with all the required paperwork. The income verification appointments will be held in the Leasing Office at Copper Cove Apartments.
3. Vista Ridge's management team will complete the necessary approval steps and contact you with approval information within approximately two weeks of this appointment. If additional documentation is needed, you are required to provide it within 24 hours to avoid application dismissal.

Approval and Selecting an Apartment:

1. Once fully approved, management will contact you by phone. At this time, we will select your desired apartment. Available apartments will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.
